CHR Women’s Short-Sleeve Track Jacket
Drop 001 / Women’s Movement Collection
Built for the booth. Ready for the night.
A fitted women’s track jacket developed for DJ sets, dance floors and city movement. The short-sleeve silhouette combines performance-minded construction with a feminine shape designed to move naturally through long sets, late nights and everything between.
Rather than adapting a traditional men’s track jacket into a smaller size, CHR is developing this piece around women, movement and the realities of performing in warm, high-energy environments.
COMING WITH DROP 001
WHY WE MADE IT
Most performance jackets are designed around workouts.
Most nightlife jackets are designed around standing still.
We wanted something in between.
The CHR Women’s Short-Sleeve Track Jacket is being developed around DJs, dancers and women who move through music. It is intended to offer the freedom and comfort of performance clothing without losing the shape, polish and attitude you want when you’re performing, dancing or simply moving through the night.
From soundcheck to last call.
BUILT AROUND MOVEMENT
The jacket is being developed around five core ideas:
Movement-first fit: A feminine athletic silhouette with intentional waist shaping rather than a straight unisex block.
Booth-ready mobility: Designed around arms-forward DJ positioning, mixer and controller reach, cross-body movement and headphones-on/headphones-off motion.
Nightlife comfort: Lightweight stretch construction with targeted ventilation for warm, crowded and high-energy environments.
Secure storage: Concealed zip hand pockets designed to keep essentials secure while moving.
Quiet branding: Minimal icon-only CHR embroidery outside, with the full Crown Heights Radio identity reserved for the interior label.
THE SILHOUETTE
Feminine. Athletic. Intentional.
The short-sleeve track jacket is designed to follow the body without becoming restrictive.
A shaped waist creates definition while maintaining enough ease for dancing, reaching across equipment and extended wear.
The shortened performance silhouette keeps the jacket feeling modern and nightlife-ready rather than oversized or traditionally athletic.
PERFORMANCE DETAILS
MADE TO MOVE THROUGH THE NIGHT
4-Way Stretch Direction
The target shell is being developed around multidirectional stretch for mobility through the shoulders, torso and arms.
Underarm Ventilation
Stretch mesh ventilation is being developed into the underarm area to help manage heat without interrupting the jacket’s clean silhouette.
Short-Sleeve Mobility
The sleeve is designed to provide coverage and structure while allowing natural arm movement for mixing, dancing and everyday wear.
Concealed Zip Pockets
Secure hand pockets are designed to hold everyday essentials without visually cluttering the garment.
Performance Collar
A structured rib collar introduces CHR’s red-and-white visual language while maintaining a streamlined black base.
BRANDING
LESS LOGO. MORE IDENTITY.
The exterior chest carries the CHR crown + boombox icon only.
No oversized back logo.
No unnecessary exterior wordmark.
The full Crown Heights Radio name appears on the interior woven label.
That allows the garment to feel like clothing first and branded merchandise second.
MATERIALS
Since production materials are still being qualified, I would not publish the exact 88% / 12% specification as final yet.
For the Coming Soon product preview, use:
MATERIAL DIRECTION
Drop 001 is being developed around performance materials selected for stretch, breathability, durability and comfort in motion.
For new production-intent garments, Crown Heights Radio is prioritizing verified recycled textile fibers and recycled stretch materials wherever technically and commercially viable.
Final fiber composition, recycled-content percentages and applicable certifications will be published once production materials are approved and verified.
Once the factory is confirmed
We can replace that with something like:
Main Body: 88% certified recycled polyester / 12% recycled elastane
Ventilation: recycled polyester / recycled elastane stretch mesh
Pocketing: recycled polyester
Embroidery: recycled polyester thread
But only once those numbers are factory-supported.
FIT + SIZING
FIT
Feminine athletic fit
Designed with a contoured waist and movement ease through the chest, shoulders and arms.
The jacket is intended to sit close enough to create shape without restricting booth or dance-floor movement.
Planned Size Range: XS–XL
Model wears: Small
Model height: 5'2"
TESTED WHERE IT MATTERS
This deserves its own content block because it differentiates CHR from generic apparel.
NOT JUST A FITTING ROOM TEST
CHR Movement Wear is being developed through real movement.
Prototype evaluation includes DJ booth positioning, mixer and controller reach, dancing, twisting, overhead movement, headphones on and off, seated movement and extended wear in warm environments.
We’re interested in what the garment does after an hour of movement, not just how it looks for ten seconds in front of a mirror.
