CHR Miami Fashion & Style Radar: III Points, Breaking, Fashion + Dance | Oct. 12–18

Miami’s creative calendar reaches another high point this week.

III Points brings underground music, nightlife and fashion-minded audiences together in Wynwood, while breaking cyphers, Afro-Cuban dance, South Asian celebration, designer retail and the Miami Beach Bandshell give us several very different ways to watch the city move.

This week, CHR is paying particular attention to one question:

What happens to style once the body actually starts moving?

🔴 1. III Points Music Festival

Friday–Saturday, October 16–17
Mana Wynwood Convention Center + surrounding Wynwood

III Points is the biggest CHR cultural convergence of the week.

The 2026 festival spans five city blocks, 13 stages and hundreds of artists across electronic music, hip-hop and independent sounds, with additional Satellite programming spreading throughout Miami before and after the main festival.

For CHR, the music is only part of the story.

III Points concentrates DJs, artists, producers, nightlife organizers and style-conscious audiences into the same ecosystem.

🔴 2. CYPHER DIVINE: Breaking Jam

Tuesday, October 13 + Thursday, October 15
9 PM–midnight
Central Command Miami

CYPHER DIVINE remains one of the most useful recurring events on the Miami Radar.

The open-floor breaking sessions offer direct observation of garments under floorwork, freezes, rapid footwork, deep flexion and constant upper-body movement.

3. Shoes for a Cure: Shop for a Cause

October 15–17
Miami Design District

Luxury footwear and fashion labels including Manolo Blahnik, Balmain, Alexander Wang, Birkenstock and Zadig & Voltaire participate in this multi-day Design District initiative.

4. North Beach Social: Les Greene & The Swayzees

Thursday, October 15
7:30 PM
Miami Beach Bandshell

The Bandshell calendar delivers a particularly good CHR pick this week.

Les Greene & The Swayzees bring vintage soul, Motown, R&B and rock ’n’ roll to North Beach, with local retail pop-ups including Sleepy Silver Jewelry and Denim & Archives.

It’s a natural collision of music, vintage-influenced personal style and independent retail.

5. Baila Little Havana with Marisol Blanco

Tuesday, October 13 + Thursday, October 15
6 PM
Koubek Center

Marisol Blanco leads Afro-Cuban and Latin dance spanning mambo, cha-cha-chá, son, casino and rumba alongside traditional forms.

This gives CHR a very different movement vocabulary from breaking.

6. Navaratri Miami

Saturday, October 17
5–10 PM
FunDimension

Garba, raas and dandiya dancing meet traditional dress, live music, cultural performances and marketplace activity.

7. Daniel Lewis Dance Sampler

Saturday, October 17
8 PM
New World Dance Theater

Seven South Florida companies share one program spanning contemporary dance and other movement traditions.

8. Un Party de Bachata USA Tour

Sunday, October 18
1–8 PM
Furia Disco Miami

This rooftop social combines bachata with salsa, típico, dembow and reggaeton.

Also on the Radar: A Night in Havana

Thursday, October 15
Domino Park, Little Havana

Live Cuban music, dancers and DJs turn Calle Ocho into a neighborhood celebration tied to Old’s Havana’s tenth anniversary.

Crown Heights Radio curates the music, DJs, fashion, art, nightlife, movement and cultural scenes worth knowing in Miami and Brooklyn. New Radar picks every week.
