Suzi Analogue turns the museum into a dance floor while the galleries stay open. Her work crosses experimental electronic music, technology and fashion, including music placed on NYFW runways.

Central Command freshly confirms the open-floor break jam every Tuesday and Thursday for $5 all inside an actual hip-hop community.

Miss Happy Zine Print Fair – Dále Zine
Sat. Sept. 26, noon–4 PM
The 29th edition of Dále Zine’s micro-press fair highlights women-, trans- and gender-nonconforming-led publications, artists and organizations. This is less “fashion event” and more how creative scenes build visual language.

Points of View: III Points Seminar
Sat.–Sun. Sept. 26–27, 2–8 PM
Historic Alfred I. DuPont Building, Downtown Miami
III Points Artists, venue operators, producers and cultural organizers gather for panels, breakouts, demonstrations and workshops about music, events and Miami’s creative industries. Less photogenic than the dance picks, but potentially the highest-value room for relationships.

QUADRA DE SAMBA – Bateria Saideira Public Rehearsal
Mon. Sept. 21, 7 PM
Miamibloco’s free weekly public rehearsal combines live percussion and samba dancing. For CHR this is excellent for cultural dressing, community participation and music that physically reorganizes a room.
06. 💃DANCE PICK
Mambo Mondays
Mon. Sept. 21, 9 PM–midnight
Free salsa and bachata class at 9 PM followed by DJ Iván. This is good CHR observation territory for partner movement, footwear, fluidity, and the line between dressed-up nightlife and clothes people can genuinely dance in.
07. 🎨ART PICK
Miami Design District Public Art Tour
Sat. Sept. 26, 11 AM–noon
A walk through the District’s art and architecture, including Buckminster Fuller’s Fly’s Eye Dome, Virgil Abloh’s Dollar a Gallon and Criola’s Interdimensional Portal.
The CHR story of the week
Last week was about fashion being presented. This week is much more interesting for CHR because it is about style being used.
Breaking tests knees, shoulders, waistbands and floor durability. House and FlexN test recovery, articulation and uninterrupted range. Salsa tests pivots, partner movement and polish. Samba tests rhythm over time. Club nights test heat, pockets and whether clothes still look good after three hours instead of three minutes.
