November 6–8, 2026 · Miami
A roda de samba takes the floor at the Bandshell, Black Techno Matters celebrates seven years, and Toribio brings disco into the Sunday afternoon sun.
All times Eastern. Late-night sets finish the following day.
1. Roda de Samba with Soul Samba
SAT NOV 7 · DOORS 7 PM / SHOW 8 PM · MIAMI BEACH BANDSHELL
A seven-piece ensemble circles a table for a Rio-style roda de samba, with Marcello Bentine opening. Audience dancing and live call-and-response energy make this a genuine multicultural community pick; Miami Beach residents enter free with ID.
2. Black Techno Matters: 7-Year Anniversary
SAT NOV 7 · 11 PM–4 AM · THE BOOMBOX, 4447 SW 75TH AVE
Public Energy partners with Black Techno Matters for a community-centered electronic night featuring Nile Ashton, B_X_R_N_X_R_D, Pressure Point B2B Lady Narcisse and others. Serafitz closes with an all-vinyl set.
3. BASHKKA + Ms. Mada
FRI NOV 6 · 10 PM–4 AM · JOLENE SOUND ROOM, 200 E FLAGLER ST
An intimate club pairing with ghetto-house and ballroom-adjacent energy rather than the standard festival-scale electronic booking. A promising night to observe how assertive club rhythms translate into dance-floor style.
4. Fall For Dance NOW!
SUN NOV 8 · DOORS 6 PM / SHOW 7 PM · MIAMI BEACH BANDSHELL
Dance NOW! launches its 27th season with excerpts from current repertory and performances by the Dance NOW! Youth Ensemble. This is concert dance, not a club party, but its technique and range of movement make it a strong CHR research opportunity.
5. DJ Fitness: Doesn’t Care at All Release Party
SAT NOV 7 · 10 PM–4 AM · JOLENE SOUND ROOM, 200 E FLAGLER ST
A smaller, selector-led house record-release night with stronger independent-music value than a generic big-room booking. Suits CHR’s interest in the places where new local club music meets committed dancers.
6. Disco Domingo Vol. 6 featuring Toribio
SUN NOV 8 · 2–8 PM · RIVER HOUSE WINE & BAR, MIAMI
Daytime disco and house offer a different pace from after-hours club programming. Useful for CHR’s accessible, community-driven outdoor and afternoon music programming.
